BIG DADDY

WEEKDAYS 6a-12p

Big Daddy.

What’s in a name?

His was affectionately given to him by his staff in Dallas years ago.

He’s 6’2”, 225, so it fits – while finding clothes that do can be a challenge. His first job in radio was at the young age of 14 and he’s been at it ever since. He grew up in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York so he knows all about the passion of Lake Life. There are few things better. Friends, family, great music, a live fire, cold drinks and The Lake…what more do you need to make lifelong memories.

When he’s not yaking on the radio, he can be found tending his smoker as he is a HUGE BBQ fan. He has an award-winning line of BBQ and Hot Sauce and is always dabbling with new concoctions.

He and his wife are big fans of animal rescue with 4 horses and 2 dogs.

CHAZ MIXON

WEEKDAYS 12p-6P

Chaz is a 40+ year radio vet having stints in Dallas and having been heard across the country on the ABC Radio Networks including Hawaii, American Samoa and on the Armed Forces Network overseas.

A lover of music, great food, football and hockey, Chaz spends his quality time with his family, programming internet radio, streaming thrillers on TV, but most importantly keeping you rockin’ from Noon til 6 Monday-Saturday on 93-5 Rocks.

DAVE BOLDT

WEEKDAYS 6p-10p

Dave began life as a surprise.

Apparently, an unexpected one – but then, aren’t ALL surprises unexpected?

His mother was undergoing a routine x-ray in an attempt to diagnose some stomach discomfort she’d been experiencing, when, lo and behold . . . there he was, probably making shadow puppets on the x-ray screen.

Yes, that’s right – blasted with radiation before even leaving the womb.

Explains a LOT, doesn’t it?

Dave’s childhood was happy and uneventful – except, of course, for the hundreds of times he was dropped on his head during driveway basketball games with his older neighborhood friends.

Really explains a LOT, doesn’t it?

Dave’s dream was always to pursue a career in radio broadcasting. He started in 1981 at a hits station in Silsbee, Texas (picture Green Acres meets The Twilight Zone). He moved on to radio stations in Houston, and Dallas, Texas. Today he enjoys playing great music and taking care of his listeners on 93.5 ROCKS!

On his free time, you can catch Dave playing his Les Paul guitar and flying his drones. Dave would like to add that all his successes and blessings comes from his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
